The permit is not final yet, and DPP cannot start the contractor tender until it is. Spokesman Daniel Šabík says that if the station is under construction by the middle of 2028, the first stretch of line D could open as far as Libuš instead of terminating at Nové Dvory.

Two summer meetings drew about 75 and 40 people and produced a split the architects now have to resolve — more greenery against keeping the parking. A third session comes in the autumn, and heritage protection of the views to St Wenceslas already limits what can be planted in the middle.

Its construction outlasted the hospital management that started it, a corruption investigation and a fire in the new cladding a week before the ribbon.
